The high tear resistance combined with the light weight and water-repellent properties of this material makes Tyvek® 1085D a good substitute for applications where paper is not strong enough and vinyl is too heavy. Tyvek® 1085D can be used both indoors and outdoors and can withstand harsh weather conditions. Thanks to its thickness of approximately 267 μm, Tyvek® 1085D can also be used for applications with more mechanical stress.
