Nonwovens offer numerous advantages in construction and renovation due to their strong, flexible and durable properties. These various technical properties make them ideal for improving the overall performance of construction projects, from protection to isolation.

The role of nonwovens in construction and renovation

During construction and renovation work, nonwovens are used in various ways to provide protection and functionality. For example, they are used as covering material to protect floors, stairs or other surfaces from dirt, moisture and damage. In roof structures, nonwoven separation materials serve as an intermediate layer to prevent plasticisers.

In addition, nonwovens are used as underlay to reduce noise, absorb small irregularities and improve thermal isolation. Thanks to their versatility, strength and easy processing, nonwovens have become indispensable in modern construction and renovation projects.
